In 2024, MWM Elektro employees took part in a task related to the construction of a peak/reserve boiler station at Grupa Azoty Zakłady Azotowe Kędzierzyn S.A.
The control software for the natural gas preparation station for the boiler plant was developed. Operator panel visualisation software was prepared.
The gas reduction station consists of three containers: a metering container, a reduction container and an exchange and control container.
As part of the commissioning, analogue measurement signals and binary signals were tested. Water and gas valves, circulating water pumps controlled via converters and communication with gas meters have been put into operation. Test runs of the system with local control from the HMI operator panel were carried out.
After programming the Ethernet switches, fibre-optic communications with the two independent DCS systems were initiated.
This was followed by integration with the overarching DCS system, testing and functional trials of the remote control.
