At MWM Elektro, we understand how crucial it is to provide young people with practical preparation for the professional challenges posed by modern industry. That is why we regularly offer internships that allow students to gain experience in real working conditions, while also developing their technical and interdisciplinary skills.

An example of effective collaboration with young talent is the internship of Kacper, a student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Wrocław University of Technology. His internship at the MWM Elektro branch in Lubin took place from July 29 to September 16, 2024, and the program covered a wide range of topics related to electrical engineering and the mining industry.

Scope of the Internship at MWM Elektro

During his internship, Kacper was involved in work in the electrical assembly department, where he had the opportunity to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of the installation and servicing of electrical equipment. He participated in the assembly of new switchboards and in diagnostic and commissioning tests of mining hoists.

As Kacper recalls, the support and knowledge provided by his internship supervisor were crucial in helping him understand many important technical issues. During the internship, Kacper also completed health and safety training and became familiar with the technical documentation of machines, equipment, and electrical installations, which gave him the knowledge necessary for his future career.

“In addition to typical electrical issues, I also had the chance to learn about mechanics and machine construction, which was a very valuable experience for me,” Kacper commented.

Practical Preparation for a Professional Career

Internships at MWM Elektro primarily offer the chance to gain practical knowledge in areas that correspond to the challenges of modern industry. Kacper emphasizes that his time spent at our company allowed him to see what working in an industrial environment looks like and made him aware of the skills necessary to succeed in the industry.

“These internships gave me the opportunity to understand the specifics of working in the mining and electrical industries. This valuable experience will certainly influence my future career plans as an electrical engineer,” Kacper added.
