At MWM Elektro, we develop technologies that genuinely support the daily operations of industrial facilities. A recent example of this approach is the creation of our proprietary tool for configuring and calibrating WPS inserts, used in tension measurement systems for load-bearing ropes.

This solution is an integral part of our rope tension system, developed as a successor to previously used technologies. The device is based on proven electronic components and a design that facilitates fieldwork.

What makes our tool stand out?

  • Voltage selector (5V or 12V) with LED indication – for easy power mode switching

This tool allows our teams to calibrate WPS inserts more efficiently and reduces the time needed to commission the system at the customer’s site – making setup as simple and streamlined as possible.

Rope Tension System – Reinvented

It’s worth noting that MWM Elektro has taken full responsibility for the development and support of the rope tension system, which was previously operated under the TEMIX brand. We now continue to evolve this technology under our own name.

  • the possibility of further development according to client needs.

This marks another step in building our own line of measuring tools and systems – designed and manufactured in-house, with a strong focus on supporting industrial applications.

Applications and Potential of the Rope Tension System

WPS inserts can be used not only in mining. Rope-suspended elements are also present in many other industries – such as bridge pylons, tower cranes on construction sites, and various engineering structures. Our solution can be adapted to many of these scenarios.

Measuring High Forces

A major advantage of the MWM Elektro rope tension system is its ability to measure relatively high forces – up to 150 kN, which is approximately 15 tons suspended on a single insert. This makes our inserts suitable for use in even the most demanding applications.
